(Animal Protein Frothing Agent)

Pet protein-based frothing agents are derived mostly from hydrolyzed keratin or collagen sourced from abattoir byproducts such as unguis, horns, bones, and hides.

Via regulated alkaline or chemical hydrolysis, these architectural proteins are broken down into amphiphilic polypeptides abundant in amino acids like glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, which possess both hydrophilic (– NH ₂,– COOH) and hydrophobic (aliphatic side chains) practical groups.

This dual affinity enables the particles to adsorb successfully at air– water user interfaces during mechanical oygenation, decreasing surface stress and stabilizing bubble development– an important demand for producing uniform cellular concrete.

Unlike synthetic surfactants, animal protein frothing agents are naturally degradable, safe, and show superb compatibility with Rose city concrete systems because of their ionic nature and moderate pH buffering ability.

The molecular weight distribution of the hydrolysate– normally between 500 and 10,000 Da– directly influences foam security, drain price, and bubble dimension, making process control during hydrolysis necessary for regular performance.

1.2 Foam Generation System and Microstructure Control

When diluted with water (usually at ratios of 1:20 to 1:30) and presented into a foam generator, the protein service creates a viscoelastic film around entrained air bubbles under high-shear conditions.
